The process of taking our Kappe coffee from the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta to a store for sale includes several important stages:

Inception

The process starts by selecting the coffee variety that best adjust to the environment of the Sierra Nevada, we choose the Arabica variety Castillo and Cenicafe I

Harvest

Ripe organic arabica coffee fruits are carefully harvested by local and indigenous farmers and selected to ensure quality. 

Process

The coffee is subjected to a husking and washing process to remove the pulp and leaves, our process of fermentation is from 36-48 hours, and is left to dry in the sun until it reaches the right humidity. 

Selection

The coffee is carefully selected to ensure that only the best quality beans are used for export. 

Shipping

The coffee is sent to a store specializing in organic products, where it is stored in suitable conditions until it is sold.

Packed
